(WSRI) is a 36-year-old, experienced environmental contracting corporation involved in both traditional landscape projects and land restoration projects. We are seeking a full-time Land Restoration Project Manager to provide office and field management for a wide range of restoration projects (i.e., river and riparian restoration, wetland mitigation, upland restoration, erosion control) for Federal, State, local and private clients ranging from $10k to $8M in scope. Working among a diverse range of staff and team members, the Land Restoration Project Manager must excel in communicating with engineers, regulatory agencies, landscape architects, biologists, public clients (i.e., land management agencies), and private landowners. Western States Reclamation will consider applicants from a variety of backgrounds, such as Agronomy, Soil Science, or Range Management. Benefits applicable to this position include: Average time allocation for this position: 85% office, 15% field, but varies per season. • 10 days paid vacation per year. • 6 paid holidays per calendar year. • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance. QUALIFICATIONS Duration: Full-Time • At least 5 years’ experience with earthwork, revegetation, storm water management, woody plant installation, and wetlands construction; • Demonstrated ability to provide highly effective and professional communication to a broad range of professionals, both in writing and verbally; • Proven ability to work with grace and professionalism under high stress situations; • Positive attitude and solution-oriented thinker, especially under difficult situations; • Highly proficient with computers, including basic office-related software; • Proficient in creating and using Excel spreadsheets; • Experience with B2W software (Estimate and/or Track) a plus; • Strong organizational skills; • Strong self-learner (i.e. be able to learn new computer programs and techniques on your own); • Ability to work well as part of a team; • Professional attitude and performance; • Strong work ethic, energetic, flexible, and self-directed; • Excellent safety record; • Excellent supervisory skills; • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish is a plus; • Must pass a drug screen. 10009137 Farm and Ranch Network Service Co. • Plains Edition • August 2019
