: William R. Nester, former chancellor of
Kearney State College and chancellor when the school
was transferred to the University of Nebraska system.

: Nester is available only to upperclassmen. A
student must be at least a sophomore to live in Nester

Once known as North Hall, the residence was re-
named in 1963 to honor Conrad, a graduate from the Nebras-
ka State Normal School at Kearney and later a faculty member
at Kearney State College.
