Catherine Asche NORTH PLATTE — Catherine T. “Katie” Asche, 91, of North Platte died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005, at her home. Services were Friday at Bethel Evangelical Free Church in North Platte with the Rev. Dan Reimers officiating. Burial was at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell. Carpenter Memorial Chapel of North Platte was in charge of arrangements. She was born May 26, 1913, in Grand Forks, N.D., to Herman and Tillie (Skumadahl) Wang. On Sept. 17, 1950, she married Joe Asche in Grand Forks. Survivors include her husband; daughters, Diane Derra of North Platte and Gayle Bontz of Kearney; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. |
